Vivekananda Neelakantan appointed Registrar of SIAC

Vivekananda will take over from Kevin Nash, who is leaving pursuant to his appointment as Director General of LCIA.

The Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC) has announced that Vivekananda Neelakantan will be its Registrar with effect from January 1, 2025.

Neelakantan will take over from Kevin Nash, who is leaving pursuant to his appointment as Director General of the London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA).

He is a graduate of National Law School of India University (NLSIU), Bangalore and enrolled as an advocate in 2006. In India, he worked for Luthra & Luthra before moving to the chambers of Senior Advocate Rajeev Dhavan.

Between 2011 and 2014, Neelakantan served as Deputy Registrar and Head (South Asia) at SIAC. In Singapore, he worked with Allen & Gledhill before rejoining SIAC in 2023 as Deputy Registrar.

Chairman of the SIAC Board Davinder Singh SC, said in a press release,

President of the SIAC Court Lucy Reed said,
