Sampath Kumar Rajagopalan has joined Trilegal as a Partner in Corporate practice at the firm's Delhi office, where he will be focusing on corporate governance and compliance matters..Rajagopalan has over 25 years of experience in the corporate governance and secretarial compliance practice. During his in-house years in large multinationals, he worked extensively on regulatory and compliance functions, including Companies Law, FEMA, SEBI, environment laws, labour laws, customs, income tax, economic laws, and other allied laws. His regulatory experience spans service, manufacturing, and distribution companies, and he is proficient at managing HR, administration, and procurement functions through a business and commercial lens. In the last few years, he has built a formidable reputation as an authority on governance, compliance and transactional matters, advising boards and committees of large listed companies, REITs, InvITs, private companies and LLPs. .Most recently, Rajagopalan has been a Partner and National Leader at EY for nearly 5 years. He is also a Trilegal alumnus.
