Ritesh Kumar joins as Director (Tax) at J. Sagar Associates

Ritesh Kumar has joined J. Sagar Associates as a Director to further strengthen the firm’s tax practice. He will be based out of the firm's Bengaluru office..Kumar has over 15 years of professional consulting experience. He has experience in handling tax litigation matters and tax policy representations before CBDT and other statutory bodies. He is a specialist in Transaction structuring, Tax Policy, Tax Planning & Strategy and International Tax Advisory. He has also worked with several businesses on matters pertaining to fund raising, Mergers/Acquisitions and Structuring Private Equity investments..Prior to joining JSA, Kumar has led IndusLaw’s Tax practice group as its Executive Director and prior to that spent over 11 years at EY India, including advising clients in the areas of corporate governance, risk management and business performance improvement..Kumar is also a part of the Advocacy Committee with the Indian Association of Alternate Investment Funds..Commenting on the appointment, JSA’s Joint Managing Partner Vivek Chandy said,“We are delighted to welcome Ritesh to the firm.
