Payel Chatterjee joins Trilegal as Partner in dispute resolution practice

Adani Enterprises Litigation Head (Corporate), Payel Chatterjee is set to join Trilegal as a Partner in Dispute Resolution practice at the firm's Mumbai office.

Chatterjee is a 2009 graduate of the Gujarat National Law University, Gandhinagar. She earned her LL.M. in Banking, Corporate, Finance, and Securities Law from OP Jindal Global University in 2021.

She has over 13 years of experience in dispute resolution, international arbitration, litigation and white-collar investigations involving financial crimes, bribery, corruption, and internal fraud. 

She has extensively worked on international projects involving cross-border elements and managing arbitrations and litigations across forums. She also serves as an editor to the International Bar Association, Business Crime Committee and is Vice Chair, Steering Committee, International Chamber of Commerce Commission on Arbitration, and ADR.

She has previously worked at Nishith Desai Associates.

At Trilegal, Chatterjee will focus on white-collar crime, investigations and international arbitrations.
