He completed his LL.M. in Banking & Finance from London School of Economics in 2000 and has another LL.M. from Columbia Law School..With over 21 years of experience as a lawyer, Mehta has previously worked with Magic Circle firms Slaughter & May in London and White & Case LLP in New York. He joined Khaitan & Co as Partner in 2010 to start the firm's Banking practice and has worked there for 12 years before embarking upon his new journey. .Speaking about his plans as an entrepreneur, Mehta said, "I am working on building a platform in the wellness space that is investing in proprietary tech to create a scalable toolkit and a suite of products that serve and enhance the well-being of a cross-section of communities and demographs.".Commenting on Mehta's exit from the firm, Executive Director Amar Sinhji said, “We value Shishir’s contribution in building our Banking & Finance practice and wish him all the very best in his future endeavours.”
