Former Partner at HSA Advocates, Sharmil Bhushan has joined Kochhar & Co as a Partner along with her team in the firm’s Banking & Finance practice at Mumbai..Bhushan completed her LL.B. from the Government Law College, Mumbai in 2006 and earned her LL.M. from the University of Mumbai in 2012..With over 16 years of extensive experience, Bhushan has advised Indian and multinational banks, NBFCs, financial institutions and corporates across sectors on various aspects of Indian law.She has previously worked as an Advocate at Thakker & Thakker for seven years and at Economic Laws Practice for over two years. She was also the Head of Legal and Compliance at Essel Finance for over six years.
