Biswajit Chatterjee appointed Managing Partner of Hogan Lovells Singapore

Corporate Partner and Co-Head of the India Practice at Hogan Lovells, Biswajit Chatterjee has been appointed as Managing Partner of the firm's Singapore office.

Chatterjee is a 1997 graduate of the National Law School of India University (NLSIU). He holds an LL.M. from the University of Michigan Law School. He had joined Hogan Lovells from Squire Patton Boggs in July 2021.

Chatterjee is a US and India-qualified lawyer with a focus on capital markets, M&A and private equity transactions. He has extensive experience in advising clients on cross-border transactions across various industries including technology, fintech, life sciences, real estate, energy and infrastructure.

Commenting on his appointment, Regional Managing Partner for the firm's APAC division Lloyd Parker said,

“Through his wealth of industry experience, deep relationships and high energy, Bis has become a go-to legal adviser for our teams and clients in the region and in particular India.
