Allen & Overy to sponsor legal education for four students of NLSIU to encourage social mobility in the legal community

Allen & Overy in collaboration with National Law School of India University, Bengaluru (NLSIU) has initiated to sponsor the legal education of four scholars admitted to NLSIU’s B.A., LL.B (Hons) and LLB (Hons) Programmes, commencing in the academic year 2022-2023..The ‘Allen & Overy Scholarships’ will support two students in each of the B.A., LL.B (Hons) and LLB (Hons) programmes, while maintaining at least a 50:50 gender diversity ratio in the scholarship candidates..Diversity, Equity & Inclusion is one of A&O’s global and regional strategic business priorities. A&O recognises that education plays a crucial role in social mobility, and believes it has an important part to play in raising aspirations and motivating young people, creating opportunities and promoting an inclusive culture.
