Collegium recommends 3 Additional Judges of Chhattisgarh HC to be made Permanent Judges; Term of 1 Additional Judge proposed to be extended

The Supreme Court Collegium has recommended that three additional judges of the Chhattisgarh High Court be made permanent judges of the High Court, whereas the term of one other additional judge has been is proposed for extension by a year.

As per the Collegium Statement issued to this effect yesterday, additional judges, Parth Prateem Sahu, Gautam Chourdiya, and Rajani Dubey have been recommended for being appointed as permanent judges of the Chhatisgarh High Court.

Further, the Collegium has proposed that the term of additional judge, Vimla Singh Kapoor be extended by one year with effect from June 18, 2020.

All four judges were appointed by the Central Government in June 2018.
