Collegium proposes Calcutta HC Judge, Dipankar Datta for appointment as next Bombay High Court Chief Justice

The Supreme Court Collegium has recommended that Calcutta High Court Judge, Justice Dipanker Datta be elevated as the next Chief Justice of the Bombay High Court.

The present Bombay High Court Chief Justice, BP Dharmadhikari, who was sworn into office on March 21, is due to retire on April 28.
