The Supreme Court Collegium on Tuesday recommended that five additional judges of the Madras High Court be made permanent judges..Notably, three out of the five names recommended are women judges.The following judges are to be made permanent -(i) Justice LC Victoria Gowri(ii) Justice PB Balaji(iii) Justice KK Ramakrishnan(iv) Justice Ramachandran Kalaimathi(v) Justice KG Thilakavadi.The Collegium of the Madras High Court unanimously recommended the names of the additional judges for appointment as permanent Judges of the High Court on April 29, 2024.
