The Consortium of National Law Universities (Consortium) has decided that it will proceed to hold Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) tomorrow as scheduled..The Consortium met on Saturday in light of the concerns raised from various quarters regarding difficulties students are likely to face due to the protests in various parts of the country by youngsters opposed to the Central government's Agnipath scheme.However, according to a press release issued by the Consortium, the exam will go as per scheduled."The Consortium of National Law Universities will conduct the Common Law Admission Test 2022 for BA LLB and LLM admissions on June 19, 2022, Sunday between 2-4 PM. The examination will be conducted at 131 examination centres in 25 States across India. The Consortium has taken all necessary steps to ensure a Covid safe environment for all students, staff and faculty," the press release said.Pertinently, candidates have been advised to make arrangements to reach their examination centre well in advance of the scheduled time..It further said that the Consortium has reviewed all the arrangements made for the conduct of the exam."The Committee considered concerns raised by some candidates arising out of the emerging situation in some areas.
