Born in January 1960, he did his LLB from Bombay University. He enrolled as an advocate in June 1983, following which he practiced on the original and appellate sides of the Bombay High Court..He has served as a member of the Board of Studies on Law, University of Mumbai, as well as a member of the the Disciplinary Committee of Bar Council of Maharashtra and Goa.He was elevated as an additional judge of the Bombay High Court in November 2003.
