CBI court sends RG Kar ex-principal Dr. Sandip Ghosh to judicial custody

Dr. Ghosh was arrested by the CBI on September 2 after the Calcutta High Court had on August 23 ordered the CBI to investigate the alleged financial irregularities at RG Kar Medical College and Hospital.

A special court in West Bengal on Tuesday remanded Dr. Sandip Ghosh, the former principal of RG Kar Medical College and Hospital in Kolkata, to judicial custody until September 23 in connection with the case relating to alleged financial irregularities in the college.
