Calcutta High Court Bar Association on strike after assault of lawyer by police

The Association stated that Advocate Sourav Mandal was "mercilessly" assaulted by sub-inspector Sudipto Sanyal when he appeared at the Nepalganj police outpost on behalf of a client.
