Brothel customer not liable under Immoral Traffic Prevention Act: Allahabad High Court

The Court held that a brothel customer would not be liable under Sections 3 to 9 of the Act which concerns offences related to the practice of prostitution.

The Allahabad High Court recently observed that a customer visiting a brothel to satisfy his lust and not for the purpose of making commercial gains, would not be liable for prostitution-related offences under the Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act (ITPA).
