Bombay High Court slaps ₹80 lakh costs on SEBI, NSE, BSE for illegal freezing of demat accounts

The Bombay High Court, on Monday imposed cost of ₹80 lakh on the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), and the National Stock Exchange (NSE) for the unlawful freezing of demat accounts belonging to Dr. Pradeep Mehta and his son, Neil Pradeep Mehta.
