Bombay High Court issues notice on election petition against Shinde faction MP Ravindra Waikar
Waikar had won from the Mumbai North West constituency by a narrow margin of 48 votes over Uddhav faction's Amol Kirtikar in the recently concluded general elections.
The Bombay High Court on Monday sought the response of Member of Parliament (MP) Ravindra Waikar of the Shiv Sena Shinde faction on a plea filed by Shiv Sena Uddhav faction's Amol Kirtikar challenging the former's election from the Mumbai North West constituency in the 2024 Lok Sabha polls [Amol Gajanan Kirtikar v Ravindra Dattaram Waikar & Ors.[]
