The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) legal cell has called for a protest in all the district courts of the national capital against the arrest of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on March 27..Advocate Sanjeev Nasiar, State President of AAP's Legal Cell confirmed the development and said that the lawyers will gather in all the district courts at around 12:30 PM to protest Kejriwal’s arrest.Nasiar is also the vice-chairman of Bar Council of Delhi.“The way Arvind Kejriwal has been arrested shows there is a conspiracy against him. The lawyer community has, therefore, decided to hold a massive protest tomorrow at 12:30PM. We will gather in our courts and hold a protest. We stand with Arvind Kejriwal,” Nasiar said in a video message.The protest will be held at Patiala House Court, Dwarka Court, Saket Court , Karkardoona Court Tis Hazari Court and the Rouse Avenue Court..Kejriwal was arrested by the ED on March 21 and he is at presently under custody of the central agency.Kejriwal’s plea challenging his arrest and subsequent remand order by the trial court will come up for hearing before the Delhi High Court on March 27. On March 22, Delhi's Rouse Avenue Court remanded him to ED custody till March 28.
