The Delhi High Court might get five new judges, according to highly placed sources. Around 300 judges are under scanner for misuse of the funds provided for purchase of laptops. The Chief justice of the High Court has set up a panel comprising three High Court judges to probe into the matter. The judges under scrutiny allegedly used the funds to purchase home theatre system and TVs instead of computers. .According to this report, the names of four judges, who are not being investigated, may be segragated and cleared soon..If all five appointments go through, the strength of the High Court will increase from 36 to 41.
