AFT orders Central government to enhance pension for widow of pilot killed in rescue mission 24 years ago

The pilot died in August 1999 while on a mission to rescue trekkers stranded in Himachal Pradesh. His wife had sought for pension under the Liberalised Family Pension scheme instead of a Special Family Pension scheme.
