Advocate Sarah Sunny, India's only practicing deaf lawyer recounts her journey

"It took us so long for us to make this happen. This should have happened long ago," Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud said on Tuesday, days after the Supreme Court of India witnessed, for the first time ever, an interpreter translating proceedings for an advocate with hearing impairment.
