Bollywood actor Imran Khan will approach the Bombay High Court challenging the notice issued by the Foreigners Regional Registration Office (FRRO) which directs him to leave the country by October 28 for allegedly violating the Foreigners Act. .Once the plea is filed, it will be moved for an urgent hearing. He alleged that the actor, a United States (US) citizen, breached the Foreigners Act by participating in the political morcha. .The Gamdevi police subsequently forwarded the complaint to the FRRO for necessary action.The immigration authority acted on the complaint and served an expulsion notice to the actor. .According to reports, the FRRO directive cited his US citizenship and flagged his participation in the demonstration as an infraction of immigration and foreigners regulations.Khan has been ordered to leave the territory of India on or before October 28..Khan is an Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) cardholder.
