48 temples in Tamil Nadu will live stream opening of donation boxes on YouTube: State to Madras High Court

The Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments (HR&CE) department of the State government made the submission in a counter affidavit filed in a case involving concerns of irregularities in the management of temple funds.

The Tamil Nadu government recently told the Madras High Court that forty-eight 'Senior Grade’ temples in the State have been directed to live stream the opening of their donation boxes on their respective YouTube channels.
