The results of the Supreme Court Advocate-on-Record (AoR) exam held in June last year, were released on the Supreme Court website last month.
Topping this year’s list is Dhananjaya Mishra from NALSAR and Sumeer Sodhi from ILS, Pune is ranked second.
Update: Neha Malik from VIPS, Delhi has also scored same marks as Dhananjaya Mishra and has topped the AoR Exam.
However, this time she was reappearing for the AOR exam as she could not clear one of the papers last time while Dhananjaya Mishra and Sumeer Sodhi gave the exam for the first time and cleared.
125 lawyers have cleared last year’s exam, while a total of 82 have been deemed eligible for re-examination as per Regulation 11(i) and (ii) of the exam rules.
In the 2016 edition of the AoR exam, 145 out of 595 candidates cleared the got through. That exam was topped by Sahil Tagotra from Pune University and Deepayan Mandal from Symbiosis Law School.
