16th SILF Turf Cricket League: Semi-final results and highlights

The 16th edition of the Society of Indian Law Firms (SILF) Turf Cricket League witnessed thrilling semi-final encounters across the Cup and Plate Divisions, with top law firms battling for a place in the finals.

The tournament this year has attracted a participation of 28 teams and is set to culminate with the finals scheduled for December 1.

Matches are being hosted at two venues: Modern School, Barakhamba Road, and the Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce, Pitampura.

Cup Division Semi-finals

1. Lakshmikumaran & Sridharan vs Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas

In a nail-biting contest, Lakshmikumaran & Sridharan (LKS) triumphed over Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas (CAM) in the super over after the match ended in a tie.

The standout performance by Anurag Kapur of LKS earned him the Man of the Match title. CAM’s Harsh Vardhan was named Fighter of the Match for his valiant effort.

2. S&A Law Offices vs Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas

S&A Law Offices secured a victory against Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas (SAM), winning by 4 wickets.

Manoj Kumar Singh of S&A Law Offices shone as the Man of the Match, while Srijan Shrivastav of SAM was recognized as the Fighter of the Match.

Plate Division Semi-finals

1. Luthra & Luthra vs Dua Associates

Luthra & Luthra dominated the match, defeating Dua Associates by a margin of 73 runs.

Abhinandan Sharma of Luthra & Luthra was awarded Man of the Match. Dua Associates’ Manjunath S was named Fighter of the Match.

2. Saikrishna Associates vs Lall & Sethi

Saikrishna Associates secured a comprehensive victory over Lall & Sethi, winning by 10 wickets.

Nitin Bisht of Saikrishna Associates was the Man of the Match, while Raju Pramanik of Lall & Sethi earned the Fighter of the Match honour.
