16th SILF Turf Cricket League: 13 more matches played

Thirteen more matches were played as part of the 16th edition of the Society of Indian Law Firms (SILF) Turf Cricket League over the weekend.

The tournament this year attracted a participation of 28 teams and is set to culminate with the finals scheduled for December 1.

Matches are being hosted at two venues: Modern School, Barakhamba Road, and the Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce, Pitampura.

Here is a recap of the matches that kicked off the league:

1. Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas (SAM) beat Burgeon Law by 177 runs.

Chintan Ashwani of SAM was named the Man of the Match, with Abhinav Agnihotri of Burgeon Law being named the Fighter of the Match.

2. Luthra & Luthra beat TT&A by 171 runs

Anirudh Grover of Luthra & Luthra was named the Man of the Match, with Sai Krishna of TT&A being named the Fighter of the Match.

3. S&A Law Offices beat JSA by 9 wickets.

Jatin Kapoor of S&A Law Offices was named the Man of the Match, with Sounak Rajguru of JSA being named the Fighter of the Match.

4. Vaish Associates beat SKV Law by 38 runs.

Sunil Kumar of Vaish Associates was named the Man of the Match, with Aman Jamwal of SKV Law being named the Fighter of the Match.

5. Lall & Sethi beat Dua Associates by 80 runs.

Vinay of Lall & Sethi was named the Man of the Match, with Rahul Goyal of Dua Associates being named the Fighter of the Match.

6. Khaitan & Co. beat Anand & Anand by 2 runs.

Shashwat Rakshit of Khaitan & Co. was named the Man of the Match, with Puneet Khandpal of Anand & Anand being named the Fighter of the Match

7. HSA beat IndusLaw by 7 wickets.

Nitin Arora of HSA was named the Man of the Match, with Parag Rai of IndusLaw being named the Fighter of the Match.

8. Kochhar & Co. beat Saikrishna Associates by 3 runs.

Ashish Kothari of Kochhar & Co. was named the Man of the Match, with Nitin Bisht of Saikrishna Associates being named the Fighter of the Match.

9. Saraf & Partners beat Jaitley & Bakhshi by 53 runs.

Aditye Arora of Saraf & Partners was named the Man of the Match, with Daman Popli of Jaitley & Bakhshi being named the Fighter of the Match.

10. Wadia Ghandy & Co. beat King Stubb Kasiva (KSK) by 81 runs.

Aman Gandhi of Wadia Ghandy was named the Man of the Match, with Samarth Kapoor of KSK being named the Fighter of the Match.

11. Lakshmikumaran & Sridharan (LKS) beat Phoenix Legal by 231 runs.

Yogesh Srinivasan of LKS was named the Man of the Match, with Nikhil Kumar of Phoenix Legal being named the Fighter of the Match.

12. Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas (CAM) beat Dentons Link Legal by 94 runs.

Amit Pal of CAM was named the Man of the Match, with Mayank Bansal of Dentons Link Legal being named the Fighter of the Match.

13. AZB & Partners beat S&R Associates by 8 runs.

Aman Raj of AZB was named the Man of the Match, with Taranjeet Singh of S&R Associates being named the Fighter of the Match.
