15th SILF Turf Cricket League recap: 12 more matches played

Twelve more matches were played as part of the 15th edition of the Society of Indian Law Firms (SILF) Turf Cricket League between October 21 and October 24.

The tournament had commenced earlier with seven matches being played on October 7 and 8. An additional ten matches were played on October 14 and 15.

The league this year attracted a record participation of 32 teams, a significant increase from the 21 law firms that competed in last year's edition.

The tournament is set to culminate with the finals scheduled for December 3. Matches are being hosted at two venues: Modern School, Barakhamba Road, and the Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce, Pitampura.

Here is a recap of the matches played over the weekend:

1. Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas beat King Stubb Kasiva by 32 runs.

Siddharth Damle of Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas was named Man of the Match, with Harsh of King Stubb Kasiva being named the Fighter of the Match.

2. S&A Law Offices beat Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas by 4 runs.

Jatin Kapoor of S&A Law Offices was named Man of the Match, while Aditya Pandey of Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas was awarded Fighter of the Match

3. Vaish Associates beat DSK Legal by 25 runs.

Shubham Sharma of Vaish Associates was named Man of the Match, while Vardaan Wanchoo of DSK Legal was awarded Fighter of the Match

4. Dua Associates beat KNM Partners by 7 wickets.

Manoj Rawat of Dua Associates was named Man of the Match, while Aishwary of KNM Partners was awarded Fighter of the Match.

5. Lakshmikumaran & Sridharan beat Jaitley & Bakhshi by 28 runs.

Anurag Kapur of Lakshmikumaran & Sridharan was named Man of the Match, while Vivek Chauhan of Jaitley & Bakhshi was awarded Fighter of the Match.

6. AZB beat TT&A by 9 wickets

Aman Raj of AZB was named Man of the Match, while Deepak Mandal of TT&A was awarded Fighter of the Match.

7. Emerald Law beat Saraf & Partners by 4 wickets.

Hitesh Tara of Emerald Law was named Man of the Match, while Puru of Saraf & Partners was awarded Fighter of the Match.

8. Luthra & Luthra beat JSA by 2 runs.

Umang Sethi of Luthra & Luthra was named Man of the Match, while Dheeraj Kumar of JSA was awarded Fighter of the Match.

9. Saikrishna Associates beat S&R Associates by 8 wickets.

Shlok Seth of Saikrishna Associates was named Man of the Match, while Ajinkya Gunjan of S&R Associates was awarded Fighter of the Match.

10. Kochhar & Co beat Argus Partners by 8 wickets.

Purusharth Singh of Kochhar & Co. was named Man of the Match, while Ankit Ghua of Argus Partners was awarded Fighter of the Match.

11. Khaitan & Co beat SKV Law Offices by 10 wickets.
