15th SILF Turf Cricket League recap: 10 matches played over the weekend

Ten more matches part of the 15th edition of the Society of Indian Law Firms (SILF) Turf Cricket League were played over the last weekend, on October 14 and October 15.

The league this year attracted a record participation of 32 teams, a significant increase from the 21 law firms that competed in last year's edition.

The tournament is set to culminate with the finals scheduled for December 3. Matches are being hosted at two venues: Modern School, Barakhamba Road, and the Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce, Pitampura.

Here is a recap of the matches played over the weekend:

1. Dentons Link Legal beat Wadia Ghandy & Co by 7 wickets

Kartikeya Singh of Dentons Link Legal was named Man of the Match, with Vardan of Wadia Ghandy & Co being named the Fighter of the Match.

2. S&A Law Offices beat IndusLaw by 132 runs

Anurag Abhishek of S&A Law Offices was named Man of the Match, while Shekhar Yadav of IndusLaw was awarded Fighter of the Match

3. Vaish Associates beat S&R Associates by 5 runs

Samarth Dhumal of Vaish Associates received the Man of the Match title, with Pulatasya Pandey of S&R Associates being recognized as the Fighter of the Match.

4. Khaitan & Co beat Jaitley & Bakhshi by 7 wickets

Sanjeev Rawat of Khaitan & Co stood out as the Man of the Match, and the Fighter of the Match title went to Manish Bhatt of Jaitley & Bakhshi.

5. Emerald Law beat AP & Partners by 44 runs

Hitesh Tara of Emerald Law was declared the Man of the Match, and Lakshya Khanna of AP & Partners was named Fighter of the Match.

6. Anand & Anand beat TT&A by 8 wickets

Manish Biala of Anand & Anand was the Man of the Match, while Aman Golechha of TT&A earned the Fighter of the Match title.

7. Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas beat Lall & Sethi by 78 runs

Aditya Pandey of Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas was awarded the Man of the Match title, and Vinay of Lall & Sethi was recognized as the Fighter of the Match.

8. Chandhiok & Mahajan beat Dua Associates by 2 wickets

Naman Golechha of C&M received the Man of the Match title, with Prateek Bedi of Dua Associates named Fighter of the Match.

9. Kochhar & Co beat King Stubb Kasiva by 7 wickets

Prashant Bhatnagar of Kochhar & Co. earned the Man of the Match title, and Vijay Shankar of King Stubb Kasiva was recognized as the Fighter of the Match

10. HSA Advocates beat KNM Partners by 8 wickets

Adarsh Bhardwaj of HSA Advocates was named Man of the Match, and Om Prakash of KNM Partners received the Fighter of the Match title

The tournament was kicked off a week earlier with seven matches played on October 7 and October 8.

The tournament has Bar and Bench as its digital media partner, with sponsorship from the Ram Rattan Group and Hamdard Safi.
