Reportedly, until last year it was only the Supreme Court and four other High Courts that were allowing e-filing of cases with the court..The Supreme Court ecommitee in association with the Department of Justice last year had also held a conference with an aim to extend this facility to all other high courts and district courts..Just last week, CJI Dipak Misra launched an app which allows e-filing, helping litigants and lawyers file cases and submit documents online in the apex court, thus doing away with the need for physical presence..(Read the notice)
