The Madras High Court is looking to fill up 180 vacancies for Residential Assistants, a newly created post entailing the performance of household chores for High Court judges and Registrars.
A notification calling for applications from interested candidates was issued last month. As per the notification, the duties of Residential Assistants would include attending to "all household duties including cooking, cleaning and other household duties assigned to them from time to time in a professional and dedicated manner and even in odd hours, if need be . . .
