Madras HC grants one-month Parole for Rajiv Gandhi Assassination Convict, S Nalini

The Madras High Court today granted Rajiv Gandhi assassination convict S Nalini, 30 days ordinary leave to make arrangements for her daughter's wedding.

Parole has been granted subject to Nalini complying with the statutory conditions regarding furnishing the name, address etc. of her sureties as well as details of the place of her stay. The leave period will commence once the authorities verify these details. Further, she is also to refrain from meeting political parties or interacting with the media during her parole period.
