The Tamil Nadu Government yesterday notified the appointment of a new Additional Advocate General and a Government Pleader..Special Government Pleader, A Kumar has been appointed as Additional Advocate General (AAG). With his appointment, the number of AAGs in the High Court rises to ten. The notification dated yesterday, as published in the Tamil Nadu Extraordinary Gazette, states,.“The Government of Tamil Nadu hereby appoints Thiru. A. Kumar, Special Government Pleader as Additional Advocate General-X of Tamil Nadu in the High Court of Madras.”.By an order issued the same day, the Government has also notified the appointment of Government Pleader in-charge, TN Rajagopalan as a regular Government Pleader in the High Court. TN Rajagopalan had earlier been appointed as Government Pleader in charge, after MK Subramanian stepped down from the post of Government Pleader in October last year.
