Luthra, Khaitan, SAM, Ropes act on Carlyle’s acquisition of 37% stake in MetropolisSeptember 10 2015
Global private equity fund Carlyle has bought 37% stake in diagnostics chain Metropolis from one of its founders GSK Velu.
Luthra & Luthra acted as Indian counsel for Carlyle while Ropes & Gray acted as international counsel.
The Luthra team was led by Senior Partner Mohit Saraf along with Partner Bikash Jhawar. Suyash Srivastava advised on employment issues and Gayatri Roy assisted on trademark and other IP issues.
