Live streaming of cases of national importance, AG to assist Supreme Court in Jaising's petition

The Supreme Court today directed that the petitions seeking live streaming of court proceedings be furnished to the Central Agency so that Attorney General can assist the court in the matter.

A Bench of Chief Justice Dipak Misra and Justices AM Khanwilkar and DY Chandrachud passed the order after hearing Senior Advocate Indira Jaising, and advocate Mathews Nedumpara, the petitioners in the matter.
