Arun Balasubramanian, Partner (India Group) at Linklaters, has resigned from the firm to join Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, according to confirmed sources..Arun will be joining Freshfields in September 2013 and will Co-Head the India practice along side the firm’s India group chairman, Pratap Amin. Arun will be based in the firm’s Singapore office..Arun is a US qualified lawyer, with a focus on capital markets and corporate transactions. He joined Linklaters in 2006 as a Counsel in the London office and he was made a Partner in 2007. Prior to Linklaters, he worked at Cravath, Swaine & Moore in the firm’s offices in New York, Hong Kong and London for about eight years..According to sources close to the matter, Talwar Thakore & Associates Partner Narayan Iyer is moving back to Linklaters to fill up the position left by Arun Balasubramanian.
