Job Description

• 3-5 years of post-qualification experience in the legal field, with a focus on Oil and Gas and Energy laws.

• Strong academic background with a degree in law from a reputable institution.

• Proficiency in legal research, drafting legal documents, and communicating complex legal concepts effectively.

• Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

• Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

As an Associate at AKS Partners, you will play a pivotal role in providing expert legal counsel and support to our clients operating in the Oil and Gas and Energy sector. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Legal Advisory Services: Providing timely and strategic legal advice to clients on a wide range of matters pertaining to Oil and Gas and Energy laws, including regulatory compliance, contractual agreements, and dispute resolution.

• Transactional Support: Assisting in the drafting, reviewing, and negotiation of various agreements and contracts related to energy projects, joint ventures, acquisitions, and other transactions within the sector.

• Due Diligence: Conducting thorough due diligence reviews and analysis to assess legal risks and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations in the Oil and Gas and Energy industry.

• Litigation and Dispute Resolution: Supporting the firm's litigation team in handling disputes, arbitrations, and other legal proceedings related to Oil and Gas and Energy matters.

• Client Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, understanding their business objectives, and providing tailored legal solutions to meet their needs.

Remuneration: As per industry standards.
