Pretending to be Justice Joseph, he asked that a college lecturer be given a post in Allahabad High Court..The law student even went through the trouble of changing his TrueCaller ID to show that his number was registered to Justice Joseph..The state government officials then got in touch with Supreme Court Registrar RN Nijhawan, who in turn contacted Justice Joseph. On hearing this, the sitting Supreme Court judge revealed that he had not made such a call. He proceeded to write to Delhi Police Commissioner Amulya Patnaik and asked him to lodge a complaint..After an FIR was lodged, the police managed to nab Tausif in Lucknow. Upon interrogation, the authorities found that Tausif has had a history of impersonating several high-ranking government officials, and that he was put to the task by Ravi Srivastava, a lecturer at the law college..The report also mentions that Tausif is the son of a judge.
