Law Ministry pushes for improved judicial infrastructure; Litigants to receive updates through SMS, each court to have Public Relations Officer

In, what appears to be a determined push to improve the technological infrastructure of the judiciary, the Law Ministry has proposed major technological upgrades in the subordinate courts of the country. As per a report in the Times of India, data on pending courts in the subordinate judiciary will be uploaded on a real-time basis, allowing litigants easy access to their case status.
