TT&A advises MUFG on acquisition of stake in InsuranceDekho

MUFG has acquired a minority stake in Girnar Insurance Brokers Private Limited, which is operating the InsuranceDekho platform, and Girnar Finserv Private Limited, through a primary infusion.

Talwar Thakore & Associates advised MUFG on this transaction.

The transaction team consisted of Gautam Saha (Joint Managing Partner), Dushyant Bagga (Partner), Pooja Menon (Managing Associate) and Shambhavi Singh (Associate).

InsuranceDekho raised approximately USD 55 million in its Series-B round of fundraise which saw participation from other investors as well, including Beams Fintech Fund, Eurazeo, TVS Capital, Goldman Sachs Asset Management and Avataar Ventures.
