Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas, Linklaters act on acquisition of majority stake in Route Mobile by Proximus Group

Belgian government-owned telecom major Proximus Group is set to acquire a majority stake of 57.76% in Route Mobile Ltd. for at least ₹5,922 crores.

Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co acted as Indian legal counsel for Proximus on this deal.

This acquisition is one of the largest ever cross-border deals in the communication platform space.
