SAM, AZB, Herbert Smith, Orrick act on JSW Group acquisition of stake in Morris Garages

JSW Group has acquired 35% stake in Morris Garages Motor India Private Limited through a primary investment in MGI and secondary acquisition of shares from MGI’s promoter SAIC Motor.

Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co advised JSW Group on this transaction.

The transaction is being led by Partners Deepto Roy and Dnyanraj Desai along with Disha Adhikary, Annapoorani Ramu, Vaibhav Gwalani, Charana Reddy, and Aakaansha Arya. Additional resources include Nainesh Singh, Anshuman Singh, and Sanidhya Parashar.
