SAM advises Jupiter Electric Mobility on acquisition of Log 9 Materials Scientific assets

Jupiter Electric Mobility Private Limited, a subsidiary of Jupiter Wagons Limited, has acquired the technology and business assets of Log 9 Materials Scientific Private Limited for its Railway Battery and Electric Truck Battery Divisions. 

Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co advised Jupiter Electric Mobility on this acquisition deal.

The transaction team was led by Abhishek Guha (Partner), Mahesh Wasadikar (Partner), Yash Modi (Senior Associate) and Deesha Vyas (Associate) and was assisted by Hemant Krishna (Partner) and Dhruv Khurana (Associate).

SAM had also recently advised Jupiter Wagons on their strategic agreement with Schuler.

This acquisition marks a significant advancement in Jupiter Electric Mobility’s mission to revolutionize the electric mobility landscape in India by expanding its portfolio with cutting-edge battery solutions tailored for both the electric truck segment and Indian Railways.
