Pioneer Legal advises Suven Pharma on acquisition of Sapala Organics

Suven Pharmaceuticals Limited has proposed an acquisition of Sapala Organics Private Limited by acquiring a controlling stake initially and the balance stake after 3 years. The acquisition is proposed to be consummated in tranches, subject to customary approvals. 

Pioneer Legal advised and assisted Suven Pharma on this acquisition deal.

The transaction advisory team comprised Associate Andre Jaggi, Senior Associate Jinal Shah, Principal Associate Pavana Padmakumar, Partner Pritha Jha and Managing Partner Satish Kishanchandani.

The due diligence team comprised Associates Yash Bhale and Vijay Kumar Chawla, Senior Associate Jinal Shah, Principal Associate Pavana Padmakumar and Partner Pritha Jha.

Suven, backed by Advent International, is a publicly listed contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO).

Sapala is a Hyderabad-based CDMO focused on oligo drugs and nucleic acid building blocks helmed by Dr. PY Reddy.
