Khaitan Legal Associates acts on Synergy Capital's debt investment into the GMR Group

Synergy Capital’s foreign portfolio investment entity has gone forth with a structured debt investment under the voluntary retention route of ₹ 475 crores into the GMR Group, with the purpose of refinancing existing debt.

Khaitan Legal Associates acted for Synergy Capital in this transaction.

The transaction team consisted of Sakate Khaitan (Senior Partner), Sanjana Dasgupta (Senior Associate) and Parmeshwar Prapann (Associate).

This is Synergy Capital’s third investment into the GMR Group.
