Khaitan & Co acts on OLA Electric Series E investment round

OLA Electric Mobility Private Limited has raised approximately ₹121.5 crore ($146 million) from a Series E investment round by Temasek and other investors (including existing shareholders).

Khaitan & Co advised Ola Electric and its founder Bhavish Agarwal on this investment round and on RNT's secondary exit to Temasek. The Firm assisted Ola Electric and the Founder with all aspects of the transaction including drafting and negotiating the transaction documents and assistance with execution and closing of the transaction.

The core team consisted of Sharad Moudgal (Partner), Renu Gopalakrishnan (Partner) and Associates Aditi Vasani, Aditya Pattanayak, Aditya Sengupta, Shailja Agarwal, Shivpriya Anil, Srivittal V, Tamasaa T T.

The Antitrust team consisted of Anisha Chand (Partner) and Soham Banerjee (Principal Associate);

Litigation Patners Nikhilesh Rao (Partner) and Ganapathy Subbaiah (Partner) also assisted the deal.

Temasek is also a client of Khaitan & Co. Recently the firm advised Temasek in making a investment in Mahindra Electric.
