Hemato Oncology Clinic (Ahmedabad) (HOC) is merging with Tata Capital Healthcare Fund-backed Cellcure Cancer Centre Private Limited, which operates well-known cancer daycare centers in Mumbai under the brand Mumbai Oncocare Centre.

The transaction is being undertaken in two phases concluding with a merger of HOC with MOC.

JSA represented HOC and its shareholders on this transaction.

The transaction team consisted of Vikram Raghani (Partner), Abhijeet Sonawane (Partner), Nishi Shah (Associate) and Tanishqua Desai (Associate).

Both HOC and MOC provide medical oncology services and operate a chain of day care centres in Ahmedabad, Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh, respectively. These chains are run by reputed medical oncologists. HOC is the only clinic in Gujarat which provides comprehensive treatment of cancers and hematological diseases.
