DSK Legal, Mori Hamada act on Mizuho Bank investment in Kisetsu Saison Finance

Mizuho Bank (Japan) has invested into Kisetsu Saison Finance (India) Private Limited by subscription to approximately 15% of the share capital of Kisetsu Saison for ₹1,200 Crore (equivalent to ¥21 Billion or $145 Million).

DSK Legal advised and assisted Mizuho Bank and its affiliate on the structuring of the said transaction in compliance with the applicable regulatory framework, conducted the legal due diligence (including anti-bribery and anti-money laundering diligence) and reviewed the transaction documents from an Indian law perspective.

Ajay Shaw (Partner) provided critical inputs and advised on queries relating to banking regulations and the structuring of the transaction.
