CAM, Trilegal act on NTPC acquisition of THDC & Neepco for Rs 11,500 crore

India’s largest power generation utility - NTPC Ltd has acquired hydropower firms THDC India Ltd and North Eastern Electric Power Corporation Ltd. (Neepco) for Rs.11,500 crore, as part of one of the government’s largest asset-sale exercises.
