Global technology venture capital fund Vereeni has invested a seven-figure sum in the Bangalore based Indian fantasy sports start-up Nostragamus..Assentio Legal, a law firm with offices in Bangalore and Chennai represented Nostragamus and its founders. The Assentio team was led by Partners Rohan Cherian and Renu Gopalakrishnan along with Associate Varsha Gopalakrishnan..Nostragamus operates a mobile app that allows players to draft teams and predict results across a range of sports including cricket, football, basketball, tennis, badminton, and kabaddi, with the chance to win real-money prizes..With this investment, Nostragamus will now join Vereeni’s €100 million ‘Level Up’ tech fund alongside other early-stage ventures spanning the fintech, online gaming, business intelligence, insurance technology and blockchain verticals across the world..Vereeni was represented by Australian law firm, Kenny Klaus Intelex.
